Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce third and fifth vibrations, which are producing principal vibrations, remarkably by difining intervals of neighboring crank-angles at 180 deg. sequentially and an angle between V-shape at 45 deg., while igniting respective corresponding cylinders at left and right rows with intervals of 45 deg.. CONSTITUTION:Intervals of neighboring crank-angles are defined at 180 deg.. That means, a crank-angle between first and second crank-pins I, II is defined at 180 deg., and similarly, crank-angles between the second and third crank-pins II, III and the same between the third and fourth crank-pins III, IV are also defined at 180 deg.. An angle between left and right cylinder rows, in which four cylinders are arranged respectively, is defined at 45 deg.. Pistons for the cylinders 1, 1' are connected to the crank-pin I through connecting rods while pistons in other cylinders 2-4, 2'-4' are connected to the crank-pins II-IV in a same manner. Ignitions for those restpective cylinders are defined to be effected in accordance with a sequence 1-1'-2-2'-3-3'-4-4'.
