Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect overload at all times, by reducing voltage only for a fixed time in one scanning period, by detecting the overload conditions of each motor during that time, by opening a hysteresis motor under the overload condition and by periodically repeating the operation.
CONSTITUTION: A voltage transformer 14 and a current transformer 15 are connected to an input end of a hysteresis motor 13, and each output signal is input to a power-factor transducer 16. The output signals of the power-factor transducer 16, signals obtained through a delay circuit 17 and bias signals by means of a bias set instrument 18 are compared by means of a comparison amplifier 19. A power source device 11 is controlled through a voltage control circuit 20 by the instructions of a program set instrument 21. The program set instrument 21 puts out stepped signals in the direction that voltage instructions are increased or decreased only for a short time. The output and the output signals of the comparison amplifier 19 are input to an OR circuit 23, and the output is held by means of the hold circuit 23 and given to a control circuit 24 for switching a switch 12.
