Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a sheet-making slurry from a fibrous material prepared by blending in a specific ratio a woody fiber, an inorganic fiber and a bast fiber thereby to obtain a fiber plate of a light weight and an improved expansibility.
CONSTITUTION: A) A woody fiber obtained by steam boiling and releasing wood chips, B) an inorganic fiber such as rock wool, and C) a bast fiber such as hemp or the like are added and mixed uniformly at weight ratios of 20W40%:30W50%: 10W30% thereby to prepare a fibrous material. To this fibrous material as a main component, a bonding agent, a water resisting agent are added and mixed thereby to prepare a sheet making slurry. Then, the slurry is subjected to sheet-making, dehydration molding and drying thereby to obtain the object fiber plate.
