Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an assured draining of the rainwater via the large-size distribution type rainwater pipe for the intensive rainfall as well as to realize an effective utilization for the storage capacity of the rainwater pipe by installing the rain gauge, the flowmeter, the water gauge each.
CONSTITUTION: The rainfall signals measured by rain gauge 1 plus the measurement signals of flowmeter 12 and water meter 11 are sent to the center via telemeter transmitter 20 and receiver 21 to be connected to rainwater drainage control unit 22 (comprising rainwater flow amount predictive calculation part 23, storage target calculation part 24, optimum pump operation program production part 25 and drainage pipe simulation part 26 each). Thus the rainwater flow amount to drainage pipe 4 by the limit after time T is predicted 23 based on the amount of the past rainfall and flow amount, and then the optimum pump operation program is produced 25 and indicated to secure an approximate value to the target storage level decided based on the meteorological information as well as to decrease the start/stop frequency of the pump. At the same time, the water level, the flowing velocity and others are calculated in real time for pump well 5 as well as for each part inside 4 pipe in case the program is carried out. And the result of the calculation is displayed. In this method, the flood can be prevented previously for the facilities regardless of the skillness of the operator.
