Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate grinding work and also to minimize the process for reassembling at fixing a core of the electromagnetic realy by setting a pole face and a hinge face on the same surface beforehand and caulking with the core fixed temporarily on a yoke.
CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic core 1 is placed on an assembling jig M so that a pole face 1a will come in contact with its top, a yoke 2 is then brought down with bent pieces 2b, 2c coming to lower side, and the end of the core 1 is applied to a through hole 2d of the yoke 2. Then, the yoke 2 is struck in the direction indicated by arrow A, thereby fitting a knurled part 3 of the core 1 in the through hole 2d. In this case, the pole face 1a and a hinge face 2e on the end of the bent piece 2b of the yoke 2 are placed on the top of the jig M and then fixed temporarily with the knurled part 3 of the core 1 press-fitted in the through hole 2d. Next, the end of the core 1 which is exposed from the through hole 2 is caulked with a punch P in the direction indicated by arrow, thus fixing the core 1 and the yoke 2. Then the core 1 is kept from slanting, and a grinding work at the time of reassembling is thus eliminated.
