Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain economization and also to realize high-speed and high-precision control by driving a machine at a command speed preset to a register until a difference between a command position and machine motion position decreases below a constant value.
CONSTITUTION: Data needed for positioning a command position and a command speed are inputted from keyboard KB and stored in memory M by way of data input unit DI and depressing a start button makes microprocessor MPU read a command speed from MEM and preset the value in register REG via read bus BUS. Next, since the positioning speed nearly depends upon the command speed preset in REG, the positioning speed can be increased on the whole by increasing this command speed. Further, final positinoing is done by using a string of command pulses and by operating REG as an error register, so that high-precision positioning will be possible.
