Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve the accurate positioning to the objective position, by positioning the motor and the moving member to the objective position via the speed control mode and phase control mode and suppressing the limit cycle, in the printer.
CONSTITUTION: The control circuit 14 outputs the control signal depending on the moving distance from the present position to the objective position in response to the incremental position signal generated every given angle of rotation of the motor 3 driving the moving member with the position signal generating circuit 2 and to the integrating signal integrating the position error difference signal to the objective position from the integrating circuit 15, based on the mobile information signal externally which represents the moving distance and direction from the present position to the objective position of the moving member, and outputs the mode signal and position error signal representing that the moving member is before a given distance to the objective position of the moving member. Further, the integrating circuit 15 integrates the position error signal to accurately position the position error signal fed with the integrating signal.
