Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure a high-accuracy detection for the speed reduction point with which an accurate stoppage is possible at the desired coil diameter through an operation by supplying the pulse proportional to the rotary angle of the rewinding machine plus the pulse proportional to the shift distance of the band material respectively.
CONSTITUTION: Pulse oscillators 5 and 6 generate the pulse proportional to the rotary angle of rewinding machine 1 and the pulse proportional to the shift distance of band material 3. Gate counter 12 counts the pulses of oscillator 5 under sampling of the coil diameter. Coincidence detector 13 resets FF14 when the count value of counter 12 becomes equal to the set value of the sampling winding number, thus gate circuits 7 and 11 being closed. On the other hand, the coil diameter counts the pulses of oscillator 6 to detect the mean coil diameter under sampling. And subtractor 10 calculates the difference between the mean coil diameter and the stopped coil diameter. The operation is given via the arithmetic circuit to the differnce of the coil diameters, the winding number under sampling and the line speed. And the speed reduction point where the stoppage is given with the desired coik diameter is detected through adder 30 and polarity deciding unit 31.
