Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep a magnetic field, applied to a circulator, constant by direct detecting it by controlling a magnetic field applied to a magnetic-field detection part packaged in the circulator.
CONSTITUTION: On circulator part 1 with input terminal 1a and output terminal 1b, detecting element part 2 is mounted and the variation of a magnetic field applied to a ferrite is detected and converted into a voltage, which is fed back to control circuit part 4. To control circuit part 4, electromagnet part 3 applying a magnetic field to circulator part 1 and control reference voltage part 5 controlling a current applied to the magnet are connected to control the current applied to electromagnet part 3 so that a difference between the reference voltage of electromagnet part 3 and detection signal voltage will be zero at any time.
