Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively compensate a field time constant, by applying to a low pass filter the output voltage of a detection winding for detecting the rate of change in the interlinkage number of magnetic flux and by supplying a semiconductor chopper circuit with a signal resulting from the subtraction of the output signal of the low pass filter from a field voltage command signal. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular-wave voltage picked out from a detection winding 1B, which is provided in the same slot as a field winding 1A and has the same number of turns as the field winding and serves to detect the interlinkage number of magnetic flux of the field winding 1A, is applied to the amplification low pass filter 12. A signal vc resulting from the subtraction of the output signal vLPF of the circuit 12 from a field command signal (v) is applied as a switching command signal for a semiconductor chopper circuit 10, to a control circuit 11 by an adder 4. A rectangular-wave coltage vf of frequency corresponding to the switching command signal is supplied to the field winding 1A by the semiconductor chopper circuit 10.
