This signal allows a coil exciting power supply 10 to be controlled in feedback to variably set the exciting amount of the coil 4. This control is repeated until the temperature difference between the solid limiters 2a and 2b becomes zero in a loop. Thus, the plasma 1 is disposed at the center of the limiters 2a, 2b.
