Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable electrolysis treatment to be applied evenly in a short time at high current density by connecting an electrolyte discharge pipe having multiple discharge holes on its wall to a fine bubble producing device provided to the end of the feed pipe for electrolyte and using the discharge pipe as one of electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: Current is supplied to both electrodes and a pump 3 is driven to send the electrolyte in a cell 1 to a fine bubble producing device 4. In the device 4, numerous fine bubbles of less than about 2mm in diameter are formed in the electrolyte passing through a feed pipe 2 and this electrolyte is sent to an electrolyte discharge pipe 6. The tubular treated object (a) which is suspended from a hanger 7 and is dipped in the electrolyte in the cell 1 is electrolysis treated by the electrolyte which is flowed back into the cell 1 through the multiple discharge holes 5 provided to the wall of the discharge pipe 6 and the occurrence of burning is prevented by the boundary film breaking action and cooling action of bubbles. Hence, even anodic oxidation films, etc. may be formed on the inside surface of the treated object (a) at increased current density in a short time.
