Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a tension testing equipment of simple structure which provides the accurate measurement of strength of sticking to the base material of a coating layer, by giving tensile force to the coating layer, by flexing a leaf spring by reaction force generated there and then by taking the measurement of the sticking strength by the flection.
CONSTITUTION: Lever 5 and grip 24 are held together and then moved slowly to slide tension member 3 against coil speing 4 through operating pin 6. At this time, roller 13b is pushed against the flank of tension lever 8 by taper surface 13a and tension lever 8 is also moved together with tension member 3. Here, since tension lever 8 is bonded to coating layer 25 by attachment 9, reaction force is generated there and leaf spring 16 between free terminals of main body legs 14 is flexed. This flection is detected automatically by dial gauge 19 and its sticking strength can be found by the flection.
