Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise a cooling effect, preventing the deterioration in characteristics of a stator magnet and lengthen an insulation lifetime, by opening holes through a stator cup of iron obliquely to the rotating direction of a rotor to make the pressure outside the rotor lower than that inside it.
CONSTITUTION: An electricity generating coil 6 is rotated inside a stator made of a permanent magnet 4. Holes 23 are opened through the bottom 22 of the iron cup 2 of the stator so that the axes of the holes 23 are oblique at an angle of α to the rotating direction of a rotor. As a result, the air inside the rotor collides against the inside surfaces of the through holes 23 and is discharged to the outside with the rotation of the rotor. Therefore, the pressure around the through holes 23 becomes lower than that inside the rotor, the internal warm air is discharged and cool air is sucked in through the opposite side. This results in raising the cooling effect, preventing the deterioration in the characteristics of the permanent magnet 4 and lenghening the insulation lifetime of the coil 6.
