Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve cooling effect, by laying the stator frame of a turbine type generator set in a vapor(gas)piping, and a heat pipe having fins at a terminal box fitted on the external piping of a vapor route formed with the external piping. CONSTITUTION:In a piping for conducting vapor(gas) from an inflow side piping 2a to an outflow side piping 2b, the rotary shaft S of a rotor 9 connected directly to a turbine rotor 4 is rotatably supported by bearings 11a, 11b. A stator 8 is fixed on a stator frame 6 to compose a generator 5. The vapor (gas) for rotating the turbine rotor 4 is conducted between the stator 8 and the rotor 9 and between the stator frame 6 and an external piping 7, as shown in the arrow heads of a figure. The terminal box 12 of an output terminal 13 fitted on the external piping 7 is set. A heat pipe 16 having cooling fins 16b, 16a for forming a heat receiving section 16 ' and a heat discharging section 16'' on the terminal box 12 is laid. As a result temperature rise in the terminal box 12 is suppressed, and the insulation of an output cable 15 is prevented from being deteriorated.
