Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the size of electrical rotary machine while improving the cooling efficiency thereof by arranging a rotor for blowing air which is adapted to rotate separately from the main rotor with a partition provided between the exhaust path of cooling air and the space in the electrical rotary machine.
CONSTITUTION: A stator core 21 is provided on the outer periphery of a hollow boss section 20 near the rotating shaft of a F side casing 4 while a flange 25 of a fan 24 is supported on the inner periphery thereof by a bearing 29. The fan 24 is made up of a dicast. An iron ring 23 is buried integral at a portion facing the stator 21 and a power-driven blower 19 adapted to rotate separately from the main rotor is formed. In addition, a doughnut-shaped disc partition 36 is provided between the internal space of the main machine and the exhaust path 34 of the cooling air to reduce the flow of the reflux 39 contributing to lessen the fan effect. Thus, the blower can be incorporated into the casing for smaller size.
