Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate tentative fixing having high fixing degree by drawing near concrete floating bodies having inserting apparatus and water sealing mechansim, and fixing the floating bodies tentatively by twisting rods, and discharging the water in the water sealing part, and driving mortar and fastening the twisting rods, and thus jointing the both.
CONSTITUTION: On the joint end surfaces of the concrete floating bodies 1a and 1b to be jointed, inserting apparatuses 2a and 2b and water sealing mechanism 8 are arranged. On the sea, both floating bodies are drawn near and surface-fitted, then inserting apparatuses 2a and 2b are inserted, and a twisting rod 11 is inserted through holes 6a and 6b, and the both are fixed tentatively. After that, water is discharged from the water-tight space in the water sealing mechanism 8, and mortar is driven, and after hardening of mortar, the twisting rod 11 which fixed the floating bodies tentatively is further twisted. Thus, prestressed concrete structure is formed, and both floating bodies 1a and 1b are united.
