Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate assembling work of floating concrete structures on the sea, by previously covering junction reinforcements with concrete for rust-proofing and using them as junction guides.
CONSTITUTION: For joining floating concrete structures 1, 6 on the sea, junction reinforcements 3 of one structure 1 are previously covered with concrete through caps 15 and concave projections 4 are formed on the junction end 2, while junction reinforcements 8 of the other structure 6 are covered only with caps 15 and concave projections 9 are made on the junction end 9. Both structures are drawn near to each other, both being positioned by their projections 4, 9, and water-proof spaces are formed at the junctions. Then the rust-proofing caps 15 and concrete 4 are removed from the reinforcements 3, 8 and both structures are junctioned with each other through concrete placement.
