Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible natural forming up to the elongation limit of a metal foil by drawing by the use of a lower die having a through-hole in the center and an upper die having a spherical raised part of a diameter smaller than the reference inside diameter of the diaphragm in producing the diaphragm for speaker using the metal foil.
CONSTITUTION: A thick-walled metal foil 8 is disposed on a lower die 8 having a through-hole 7 at the center and the peripheral part of this metal foil 9 is held by a pressure die 10. Next, the central part of the metal foil 9 is pressed by an upper die 12 which moves vertically by penetrating the center of the pressure die 10 and has a spherical raised part 11 of a diameter D3 smaller than the diameter D2 of the through-hole 7 of the lower die 8 at its bottom end, whereby the dome type diaphragm for speaker is formed. Here, if the ratio of the reference inside diameters D1 and D3 of the diaphragm for speakers is defined at 0.80≥D3/D1≥0.60, then good results may be obtained.
