Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce nozzles having wall thickness and form in a wide range from a sound material, by pressing the punch into the nozzle drawing part from the inside of the pressure vessel main body menber, and compressing by filling the gap formed by the nozzle die hold and punch with part of said member.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle die hole 11 having the diameter and depth corresponding to a nozzle 10, and a nozzle die 13 having a protrududing part 12 corresponding to the inside diameter of the nozzle 10 provided in the central part of said die hole 11 are prepared. This die 13 and a punch 15 fitted to a push rod 14 are opposedly set in a press unit concentrically, and set in place by matching the center of the nozzle position of the pressure vessel main body member 16 with the center of the protruding part 12 and punch 15. The punch 15 is pushed down, and the discarded excess metal 17 is depressed by the protruding part 12 to fill in the die hole 11, and a nozzle 10 is formed by compressing. The volume of the excess metal 17 must be slightly larger than the volume of the nozzle 10.
