Abstract

PURPOSE: To form an electrophotographic photoreceptor sensitive to a wide wavelength region, by laminating a charge transfer layer and 2 charge generating layers on a conductive substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A charge transfer layer made of a semiconductor charge transferring substance, such as poly-N-vinylcarbazole (derivative) is formed on a conductive substrate, such as a plastic film or the like coated with an aluminum or copper plate or a conductive film, and on this layer 2 charge generating layers respectively using a charge generating substance sensitive to a light below 550nm wavelength, such as amorphous selenium vapor-deposited at room temperature to 40° or 60° and a charge generating substance, such as nonmetallic phthalocyanine, indigo derivatives, cyanine dyes are formed, thus a photoreceptor being formed.
