Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the size and weight thereby to make the meter portable by comparing the output level of a converter with a preset level so that the pulses to be generated when the level is higher than the preset one are integrated and indicated.
CONSTITUTION: The electric signals of the shock sounds, which are generated by a microphone 1, are amplified by a preamplifier 2 and are rectified by a rectifying circuit 3 until they are fed to a comparator 5. This comparator 5 compares the received input signals with the level, which is set by a level setter 4, thereby to generate the pulses when the preset level is exceeded. A counter 6 counts these pulses and integrates and stores the same. An idicator 7 indicates the integrated value. Those elements are stored in a portable container 8. There are arranged in this container 8 the indicator 7, a setting screw 4a of a level setter, a set vlaue indicator 4b for indicating the set level in sound pressure and a microphone 1. An electric power source is accommodated in the inside.
