Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate thin forming by minimizing volumetric variations and by improving applicative ratio of cathode active material in such a way that after coating zinc over carbon fiber, sheet-shaped zinc sublimated is made into a cathode. CONSTITUTION:A cathode 4 is formed by punching out a sheet-shaped material which is sublimated after coating zinc over carbon fiber. A super-thin type battery is shaped in such a way that this is combined through a separator 6 with a discoid anode 2 which is punched out a sheet-shaped material made in such a way that silver peroxide or silver oxide is taken as main ingredient is added binder and mixedly kneaded to be a sheet formation. As carbon fiber, for example, it is obtained by gradually carbonizing superfine fiber which has acrylic resin and polyamide resin as main ingredients and superfine fiber which has polyamide resin as main ingredient, for which are used those with fiber in average value for the diameter of circa 100-200mum.
