Abstract

PURPOSE: To confirm the intaken air amount variation in an engine at its idling time by applying an intaken air amount signal and an idling set value signal to comparator means and dsipalying the output from the comparator means on an indicator.
CONSTITUTION: An air amount intaken through an air cleaner 9, a sensing cylinder 8, a throttle valve 3 and an intake manifold 2 into an engine 1 is detected by using a control circuit 10 by the difference of heat of a heat sensing resistor 6. An idling air amount may sometines change due to improper idling adjustment screw 11 and throttle valve closing spring 12 and adhesion of dust to narrow gap between throttle valve cylinder 13 and the throttle valve 3 at its idling time to thereby cause the engine to be stalled. Then, the intaken air amount signal produced from the control circuit 10 is compared by the set valve from an input terminal 15 by a comparator 14. When the difference exceeds the predetermined value, an information relative to the air amount is applied to the indicator 16 to thus prevent the stalling of the engine in advance.
