Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage due to dropping or uneven drying, facilitating to take out a thin work piece after finishing of grinding process. CONSTITUTION:A work piece 6 is ground by rotation of upper and lower blocks 1, 2 and supplying of abrasives slurry. After the grinding process has been finished, simultaneously a gap P slightly more than the thickness of the work piece is formed between the upper and the lower blocks, water and/or abrasives slurry are/is supplied to make the liquid lamination 7 into the gap, after certaen hours has been passed the upper block 1 is raised, the ground work piece 6 is taken out. The work piece 6 is placed on the lower block 2 through the liquid lamination, damage due to dropping will be prevented.
