Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently separate oxygen in air by using two towers in a series adsorption process and two towers in a regeneration process out of four towers packed with a selective nitrogen adsorbent and by switch-controlling them in order according to a predetermined method.
CONSTITUTION: When towers 1, 2 are used as series adsorption towers and towers 3, 4 as regeneration towers, cooled and dried air of 2W4kg/cm2 is press.-fed into tower 1 from the lower part through piping 12, reaches tower 2 through piping 15 to raise the oxygen concn. to 95.3W95.6%, and enters product O2 tank 10 through valve 2A and pipe 14.
