Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance stripping performance, by utilizing electrostatic attraction acting between charge and polarization on copy paper and a conductor.
CONSTITUTION: Insulating synthetic resin 18 is filled in copper mesh 17 and this surface is covered with insulating synthetic resin film 19 to form belt 14. Belt 14 is arranged in the backward of corona charger 8, and metallic pulley 16 is connected to bias voltage source 23 or a grounded line via slip ring 21, brush 22, and switch 24. The reverse side of copy paper 4 to which a static latent image on photosensitive drum 1 is transferred by corona charger 8 is connected to belt 14; then, negative charge occurs in mesh 17 induced by positive charge on paper 4; when static attraction caused between both the charges excels the static attraction between paper 4 and drum 1; paper 4 is attached to belt 14, and separated from drum 1. Mesh 17 forms electrodes having a pattern and condenses electric force lines.
