CONSTITUTION:This receiver is equipped with circuit 8 which generates various gate signals on the basis of a control signal, circuit 3 which processes selectively main and sub channel signals from demodulator circuit 2 on the basis of a gate signal, switch circuit 19 between circuits 8 and 3, and logic circuit 22 which modifies only the selective output of circuit 3 in accordance with a state where switch 19 is not controlled when it is controlled in reception of a stereophonic program. Then, it is made possible to receive the stereophonic program of TV multiplex broadcast in a monaural state without cutting off the control signal. Further, it is also made possible to receive a different program assigned by operation switch 14 even if the broadcast program changes into the different program in the above-mentioned state.
