PURPOSE:To stop the automatic channel selection at optimum reception position, by processing the FM detection output and the intermediate frequency output with logic circuit and controlling the muting between stations and automatic channel selection through taking the logic output as control signal. CONSTITUTION:The detection circuit 7 detecting the output level is connected to the intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 4, and the detection circuit 8 detecting the tuning point of the detection circuit from the output is connected to the FM detection circuit 5. Further, the logic circuit 9 is connected to the output terminal of the two detection circuits 7 and 8 to take the logical product of the both detection outputs. The output terminal 10 of the logic circuit 9 is connected to the circuit performing muting between stations and the automatic channel selection circuit. Accordingly, only when the input level is high and the input is at the tuning point of the FM detection circuit, the logical output of the output terminal 10 is at H and the logical output is at L in other conditions. Thus, the muting between stations and automatic channel selection is controlled.
