Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain an excellent color picture by compensating the lowering of a high-band component of a video amplifier circuit, by providing a luminance signal amplifying transistor, parallel resonance circuit and delay line.
CONSTITUTION: The 1st control electrode of each electron gun of color CRT is applied with R, G and B signals. A parallel resonance circuit composed of earth capacity CX of the common-connected 2nd control electrode of each electron gun and inductance LX as a load on luminance signal amplifying transistor Q is tuned nearly to an upper-limit frequency of a video signal band, and its output high-band component is applied to the 2nd control electrode out of polarity with three primary color signals of the 1st control electrode group. In addition, signals applied to the 1st and 2nd control electrode groups are given a fixed phase difference through delay line DL2, thereby removing overshoots of three primary signals. As a result, the gradient of the raise of a CRT current can be compensated by the high-band component of the luminance signal.
