Abstract
PURPOSE:To faciliate complete miror surface forming by relatively moving working face of a work and lap in treating liquid in which MgO fine powder is suspended in water and making it moving pressure liquid bearing condition to make miror face working. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical outer wall 5 surrounds outer circumference of a disc lap 3 rotatably driving by a rotational shaft 4 to form a liquid container, in which grinding liquid 6 consisting of distilled water suspending MgO fine powder having diameter of about 0.14mum as average is sealed. Then, a ferite 7 of which surface is to be miror face worked is contacted with a sample holder 8 and a rotational shaft 9 of the holder 8 is rotated by a rotational driving shaft 13 and gears 1 and 10. Thus, condition of moving pressure liquid bearing by the grinding liquid 6 is occured between the lap 3 and the ferite 7 and as the holder 8 is rising, the surface of the ferite 7 is miror face treated by grinding liquid 6. In other words, the lap 3 and the ferite 7 do not contact directly but only grinding liquid 6 is exisisted therebetween and consequently coarse surface of the lap 3 is not concerned with the worked surface.
