Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the promotion of the quality stabilization from a simplification of fabrication and of the improvement of battery performance, by arranging a hard- to-melt sulfuric material on top part of the anode conductive material in contact with the anode current collector to prevent an ununiformity of filling of the anode conductive material in each place of the anode room.
CONSTITUTION: On the top part of an anode conductive material 6, made of graphite, carbon, metal fiber, etc., provided in contact with an anode current collector 8, consisting of a hard-to-melt sulfuric material, for instance, stainless, molybdenum alloy, chromium alloy, iron alloy, carbon coating material, etc., is arranged a hard-to-melt sulfuric fixed material 10 being welded to the anode current collector 8. To the above described anode conductive material 6 is impregnated an anode active material of melting sulfur or polysulfide sodium 7, and located in a bottommed solid electrolytic tube 5 made of β-alumina, and in its outside, the cathode active material of a melting sodium 1 is contained in a vessel 2 made of stainless and the like.
