Abstract

Output (a) of plant control unit 6 is supplied to stand-by unit 20 via signal delay unit 18 and switch 14e, and thus the output is turned to the following signal with a time delay. When fault detection device 23 detects the fault, switches 14a and 14e are opened with switch 14b closed. As a result, control signal 7 to be given to plant 8 is switched instantaneously to the commend value of device 20 from that of unit 6 of the fault detection time. After this, the command value of unit 20 is held as control signal 7 of plant 8.
