Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the maximum transferring amount of particles with the reduction in pressure loss in a transferring tube by inclining particle-ascending tube having single diameter in a transferring system where particles are transported from one fluidized bed reactor to another fluidized bed reactor. CONSTITUTION:A particle-desending tube 3 having single diameter is connected to a particle-assending tube 4 having single diameter at the lowest part between two sets of fluidized bed reactors 1, 2. The particles are transferred from one fluidized bed reactor to another fluidized bed reactor by means of the particle-desending tube 3 and the particle-ascending tube 4. When a transferring gas is introduced from the lowest part into the particle-ascending tube 4 to transfer particles, the particle-ascending tube 4 is inclined at an angle of 10-30 degrees to perpendicular, whereby the pressure loss in the particle-ascending tube 4 can be reduced and the transferring amounts of particles are maximized.
