Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the high rate discharge performance, with a separator unit constructed by a fiber of thick diameter, by such means that, an acid resistant short fiber, dispersed to dilute sulfuric acid, be made passing through between poles of element, with the short fiber spun to construct the separator unit. CONSTITUTION:In a dispersal vessel 1 are put an acid oxidation resistant short fiber 2 and dilute sulfuric acid 3, with the short fiber 2 fully dispersed by a stirrer 4. And in its lower part is provided an element containing room 6 to contain an element 7. And with a shielding plate 5, 9 opened simultaneously with a vacuum pump made sucking from a suction port 10, the short fiber 2 is made spinning between poles of the element 7 and the periphery, further with the dilute sulfuric acid partially held in a separator unit, constructed by the short fiber, to become an electrolyte. Consequently with the dilute sulfuric acid uniformly distributed in the separator unit and plates, as well as with the liquid pouring process eliminated, a thick fiber is made usable, thus a high rate discharge characteristic can be widely improved.
