Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize synchronous detection operation stable extremely against an external noise by detecting a noise, which is in such a direction that rectification is stopped, in an applied signal and by discharging the filter capacitor of a synchronous detection circuit by the output signal. CONSTITUTION:The oscillation frequency of voltage control type oscillator 3 is controlled by a control voltage, its output signal is phase-compared 1 with an amplitude-modulated input signal, and the comparison output is smoothed by LPF2 before being inputted to oscillator 3. Then, the input signal and a signal obtained from the output signal of oscillator 3 through pi/2 phase shifting are both inputted to phase comparator 5 and synchronous detection circuit 6 detects the phase synchronism of oscillator 3 through the rectification opposite to the demodulation polarity of comparator. A noise in such a direction that the rectification will be stopped is detected 7 among the signal applied to circuit 6 and the filter capacitor of circuit 6 is discharged 8 by the detection signal, thereby attaining synchronous detection stable extremely against an external noise.
