Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide combustion furnace in which NOX is stably restrained with high efficiency by regulating amount of air supplied for two stage combustion correspondingly to combustion condition thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Flame burnt in the proximity of burner 1 with air less than logical amount has low temperature and reductive environmental property, so that amount of NOX product is reduced. However, as the comustion condition is contrarily unstable owing to insufficient amount of O2, combustion conditions in the proximity of ch injection nozzle of secondary air injection pipes 4 are respectively detected by detectors 8 located respectively at such positions as described above, and signals from the detectors 8 are put in current convertor 9 output of which is put in opening ratio transmitter 10. the opening ratio transmitter 10 transmits to each actuator 6 respective command signal which directs each actuator for its opening ratio that corresponds to signals from each detector 8. In this way, an optimum amount of two stage combustion air is automatically supplied to every locations within the furnace 7.
