Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform multiple sheet continuous copying of stable quality by individually storing the developing solution before and after being supplied to photoreceptor.
CONSTITUTION: A recovery tank 8, a developing tank 9 and a storage tank 10 provided with a toner replenishing means 25 are disposed in communication. Then, when the developing solution in the developing tank 9 is scooped up by a pump 23 and is supplied to the photoreceptor and when the liquid level in the developing tank 9 lowers owing to multiple sheet continuous copying, the signal of a detector 24 causes a solenoid valve 20 to open to move the developing solution in the storage tank 10 into the developing tank 9. When the liquid level in the storage tank 10 lowers below the specified position, a pump 18 is operated by way of the operation of the detector 19, causing the developing solution in the recovery tank 8 to be moved into the storage tank 10. The toner is thereby replenished and the developing solution regenerated.
