Abstract

PURPOSE: To make effective use of heat energy by performing temperature control for cooling the sleeve and heating and heat insulation with a common oil providing channels in the induction heating coil in the outer circumference of the sleeve for pouring molten metal and in the metal mold.
CONSTITUTION: The molten metal poured and kept in the sleeve 5 is heated by the induction heating device 12 to retain its heat. Then, pressure is applied to the molten metal between the plunger piston 8 and counter piston 9 and pressure filled into the molding part 4 of the metal molds 2, 3. At this time, the metal molds 2, 3 are preheated by common oil through the channels 21, 23 and the oil is kept at high temperature by heat absorbing action of the heating device 12, in consequence, the metal molds 2, 3 are kept at high temperature. Thus, the molten metal is filled in the mold without local solidification. The optimal temperature of the metal molds 2, 3 is detected by the sensors 27, 28 and in case of any abnormality, heating of the controller is stopped and, if necessary, the heating device 12 is also turned off.
