Abstract

PURPOSE: To mitigate cold draft upon initiating an operation and enable to effect confortable room heating by constituting so as to effect the operation at maximum heating capacity upon initiating the operation.
CONSTITUTION: An operation control circuit for a heat-pump type air conditioner is consisting of a thermister RTH, detecting a temperature in a space to be heated, a temperature detector AD1, effecting ON-OFF operation for a compressor motor, and a temperature detector AD2, effecting ON-OFF operation for a heater. When a voltage at a point e1 is higher than that at a point e2, the detector AD1 outputs an output "H" to connect a transister Tr14 and the compressor motor is driven through a relay RyM. When a temperature is attained to that determined by a parallel resistance for a resistors 3, 4 and a divided resistance of a resistor 2, a transister Tr5 is disconnected and the detector AD1 outputs an output "L". When the voltage at the point e1 is higher than that at a point e3, the detector AD2 outputs an output "H" and atransister Tr36 is connected through an OR gate 33, and thereby, the heater is applied with an electric current through a relay RyH.
