Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to make a quick decision on quality on the basis of a constant criterion by measuring a magnetic field provided with a deflecting yoke at several fixed points.
CONSTITUTION: Discoid magnetic-field detector 16 is provided with five magnetic- field detecting elements 25 to 29; detecting element 25 on the center axis of the disc and other detecting elements 26 to 29 are on two planes crossing mutually at right angles including the center axis. Respective magnetic-field detecting elements 25 to 29 has the maximum sensitivity in two orthogonal directions, and two sensitivity directions are in parallel to the above-mentioned two orthgonal planes. When fixed deflecting currents are supplied from constant current supplies 18 and 17 to vertical deflecting coil 14 and horizontal deflecting coil 13 of tested deflecting yoke 12 fixed by holding mechanism 15 with its center axis made to agree with that of the magnetic field detector, a deflection magnetic field is generated and detected by magnetic detecting elements 25 to 29, whose detection signals are converted into electric signals.
