Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a quick and accurate decision for the quality of the deflecting yoke, by measuring the magnetic field produced by the deflecting yoke for color television to be tested at several fixed positions and then giving the arithmetic process to the measured value.
CONSTITUTION: The fixed deflecting current is supplied from constant current source 19 or 20 to horizontal or vertical deflecting coil 15 or 16 of deflecting yoke 14 to be tested, and thus the magnetic field is produced to yoke 14. The produced magnetic field is detected by magnetic field detecting elements 24W28 provided to magnetic field detector 18, and then the electric signals are generated in correspondence to the horizontal and vertical deflecting direction components of the field intensity at each position of elements 24W28. These electric signals are supplied to deciding unit 23 after carrying out the fixed arithmetic process at operator 22 and via amplifier 21. Then the checking is given whether these signals are stored within the prescribed range or not, and thus the decision is given to the quality. In such way, a highly efficient and accurate decision can be given to the quality of the deflecting yoke in a short time through the arithmetic process mentioned above.
