Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture the title plate with superior press formability by coiling a steel plate esp. contg. an adequate amt. of P and sol. Al at below a predetermined temp. followed by cold rolling and recrystallization annealing by soaking at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:Steel contg. C 0.01-0.15%, Si 0.30%, Mn 1.6-3.0%, P 0.04- 0.20% and sol. Al 0.02-0.30% is hot rolled at 800-870 deg.C, coiled at below 600 deg.C, e.g. 550 deg.C, cold rolled, and soaked at 660-750 deg.C, e.g. 690 deg.C for above 30 min in a bell type annealing furnace or the like to carry out recrystallization annealing, thus obtaining a high tensile cold rolled steel plate having a tensile strength above 40 kg/cm<2>, an yield ratio below 0.60 and r value above 1.5.
