Abstract

PURPOSE: To form coating films free from pinholes in a short time without using any heating furnace by supplying current to the heating element having conductive material in base material to let heat be evolved and spraying powder coating to this heated heating element to fuse.
CONSTITUTION: Current is first supplied to the heating element comprising burying conductive heating material such as nichrome wire, conductive carbon particles, etc. into base material of organic material such as plastics, rubber, etc. or inorganic material such as cement mortar, water glass, etc. to let heat be evolved. Next, powder coating such as thermosetting epoxy resins, acrylic resins or thermoplastic nylon, fluorine resins, etc. is sprayed to this heated heating element. Then, the powder coating fuses onto the heating element surface, then casts and forms a continuous film. In this way, the coating film which does not produce any pinhole may be coated in a short time simply through current supplying without using any heating furnace.
