Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain economically a synthetic resin film superior in mat resistance and uniformity of matting properties, by a method wherein after curing resin coating containing a matting agent has been applied to a side surface of a synthetic resin film and the surface is formed into a minute uneven form by emboss-treating the surface. CONSTITUTION:A polyester film or a polyvinyl chloride film is used for a mat film as a synthetic resin film 1 and a curing resin layer 2 containing a matting agent is formed on a side surface of the resin film. Inorganic matter such as silica or calcium carbonate and an organic matter such as polyethylene particles or Teflon powder are used for the matting agent. Then the curing resin layer 2 containing the matting agent is formed of ionization curing coating and thermosetting coating. In this instance, adhesion organosilane curing coating to synthetic resin film is especially favorable and the curing resin layer 2 whose surface hardness is high can be formed. Then a minute uneven form is formed on the surface of the curing resin layer 2 through embossing method. With this construction, a mat film having matting properties superior in uniformity and excellent mat resistance is obtained easily.
