Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture the shape with high surface hardness by a method wherein a mixture obtained by mixing melamine resin powder with the unsaturated polyester resin, etc. is applied on a die, and unsaturated polyester is filled, pressed and heated and molded integrally. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the die is coated with the mixture consisting of the 50-95wt% melamine resin and the 5-50wt% unsaturated polyester resin, unsaturated alkyd resin or mixture of the two resin by means of a spray. The sheet- shaped or lumpy unsaturated polyester resin molding material is filled onto a coating surface of the die, pressed and heated and molded integrally. Accordingly, a surface layer, hardness thereof is high and which is excellent in adhesive property with the shape, can be formed on the surface of the shape in the unsaturated polyester resin through a simple process in which the die is coated with the resin by means of the spray.
