Thus, protophyta, etc., can be judged with high accuracy with less reflection of acoustic wave at interface with treated water and aeration amount, the amount of chemicals to add, etc., can be automatically controlled to standard values by the control mechanisms 10 to 14 according to signal from the detector 8.
