Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a ready fabrication of an X-ray tube with superior reliability by securing a stack of a plurality of cylindrical insulators with annular conductor interposed therebetween to thereby form a vacuum container.
CONSTITUTION: A vacuum container 5 is produced by securing a stack of a plurality of cylindrical insulators 8 with annular conductor 9 disposed therebetween at the central axis of a line connecting a cathode 1 to an anode 2. Porcelain or glass is employed at plate insulators 6, 7 and cylindrical insulators 8 for securing respectively the cathode 1 and the anode 2. Iron-nickel-cobalt alloy plate or the like is used for the annular conductor 9. A metallized layer formed in advance on the insulator connected to the metal to the insulator is brazed to a metal 9 with silver solder or the like. A plurality of high resistors serial circuit is formed between the cathode 1 and the anode 2 at using time, and the respective pressure dividing points can be connected to the respective metals 9. Thus, it provides a ready fabrication of an X- ray tube and eliminates occurrence of discharge in the container 5 to thereby enhance its reliability.
