Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare beauty wash which can be stored for a long period, and used safely even by a person having sensitive skin, by aging a mixture composed mainly of natural lemon and pure honey at a constant temperature for a definite period. CONSTITUTION:Sliced lemon fruits are immersed in alcohol, and mixed with pure honey and purified water. The mixture is stored in a vessel at a definite temperature of >=42 deg.C, pref. 42-45 deg.C for >=24 hours to obtain the objective beauty wash. The beauty wash has a Brix degree of 18-23 deg.C, a pH value of 3.0-4.0, and a clarity of 10, and can be stored without discoloration and change in smell. The citric acid existing in lemon cures the fatigue of the skin, and the vitamin C decomposes the melanin of the skin. The various components in the honey (e.g. minerals, vitamin B1, B2, etc.) are effective to the nourishing and disinfection of the skin.
