Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce heat radiation and convection from flames acting on the temperature controllability of a temperature sensor as disturbance primary factors and radiation heat transmission from a burner head while further improving the characteristics of the temperature sensor by cooling effect by the natural ventilation of secondary air.
CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor 2 is contacted with an outer bottom of a vessel 1 to be heated, and a heat shielding cylinder 3 is installed to an inner cavity portion of a burner head 4 while surrounding the circumference of the temperature sensor 2. The height of the heat shielding cylinder 3 is regulated by the dimensions of the vessel 1 and a trivet 6 here, but the height C and a diameter of the heat shielding cylinder 3 and set so that the height and diameter be higher than a line PP' joining a nose P of a primary flame of an outer circumferential flame of the burner head 4 and a nose P' of the temperature sensor, thus decreasing the effect of heat radiation and the effect of heat shielding cylinder 3 itself in the case when temperature rises.
